Terms of Service

Last updated: February 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZuZu (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a home care agency), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

ZuZu is a care coordination platform that helps families, caregivers, and agencies manage day-to-day care tasks, scheduling, communication, health tracking, and related services. ZuZu is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Care Circles and Permissions

Care circles are managed by administrators who control access and permissions. Administrators are responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to care recipient information. By inviting someone to a care circle, you consent to sharing the care recipient's information with that person according to their assigned role.

5. Gift Center and Payments

The Gift Center allows users to purchase services for care recipients. All payments are processed through Stripe. Refund policies are outlined at the time of purchase. ZuZu acts as a facilitator between gift senders and service providers and is not directly responsible for service delivery.

6. AI Features

ZuZu offers AI-powered features including care insights, pattern detection, and predictive alerts. These features are informational only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. You can disable AI features at any time in your account settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share care recipient information outside authorized channels
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Upload malicious software or interfere with the Service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your role

8. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on ZuZu, including care notes, health data, and uploaded files. You grant ZuZu a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

ZuZu is a coordination tool, not a healthcare provider. We are not liable for decisions made based on information in the platform, service delivery by third-party providers, or any outcomes related to care. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
